Apart from the general director of Metalac, Radmila Trifunovic, who was awarded the title of the business leader of the region in 2022, the business leader of 2021 award at the level of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce was given to Stanica Levajac, the director of Helios Serbia. At the same time, another three awards have found their destination in Gornji Milanovac. First came the Gold Certificate for Rudnik and Rudnik Flotation on the occasion of their 70th anniversary, while the Silver Certificates were received by Miskovic d.o.o. for its three decades of existence and Flint Group Balkans for its 20th anniversary. The awards were presented by the president of the Parliament of the Kraljevo Regional Chamber of Commerce, Verica Kostic, who is also the director of UTP Morava from Cacak, and Mile Savkovic, the dean of the Faculty of Mechanical and Civil Engineering from Kraljevo.
I want to thank you on behalf of all the recipients of these awards, whom I congratulate once again. I know that we were selected among what is probably a very strong competition, and therefore it is an even greater honor to be among the best in 2021 and 2022. The success and significance of this award is all the greater because you have placed emphasis on the truth about how difficult and challenging were those years for business. We were all focused on how to preserve the manufacturing and sales, while taking into account, most of all, the safety and health of people, rising prices of materials, the concerning global economic circumstances and security, as well as all other aspects related to these factors. According to all the indicators that you have presented, we are looking at another difficult year, but let’s not think about it at this moment. If we have managed to survive this year, I have no doubt that we will be prepared for the next one, considering that we are talking about companies with 60 and 70 years of business experience behind them – said Radmila Trifunovic, the general director of Metalac, in her speech on behalf of the recipients of prestigious awards of the Kraljevo Regional Chamber of Commerce on Friday, November 18.
The reasoning behind the awards given to female business leaders of 2021 and 2022 actually underlines several crucial elements. First of all, latest research has shown that for the new generation of leaders, who are yet to face the global economic crisis, female style of leadership largely satisfies the requirements of being orientated towards employees and sustainable operations. Main goals are the creation of a stimulating environment at work, individual motivation, innovation and changes. These are precisely the characteristics that have fundamental importance during today’s economic crisis, says the explanation for the awards.
President of the Metalac Group, Dragoljub Vukadinovic, who was at one time the president of the Kraljevo Regional Chamber of Commerce, as well as the owners and directors of all the companies who have received the anniversary award, were among the numerous businessmen who attended the event.
