Prof. dr Dragan Đuričin

Prof. Dr. Dragan Djuricin is a regular member of the World Academy of Art and Science (WAAS) and a founder and member of the Managing Board of the Serbian branch of the Club of Rome.

His entire academic career was spent at the Faculty of Economics of the Belgrade University, where he taught the courses of Strategic Management, Management of Projects, Corporate Risk Management, Economics of Strategy and Strategic Financial Management. He is the editor-in-chief of Serbian science magazine Ekonomika preduzeća (The Economy of Companies), as well as the president of the Association of Corporate Directors of Serbia.

Dragan Djuricin has authored numerous books and textbooks in the fields of strategic management, management of projects, systemic transition and risk management. He was a visiting professor at the University of Venice and a scholar of the Fulbright Foundation.

He was a member of corporate management bodies of several multinational and renowned Serbian companies such Tarkett, Molson Coors, Danube Foods Group, and Addiko Bank Serbia. For more than two decades (24 years) he has held top managerial positions in the consulting company Deloitte, including the positions of the president of Deloitte Pannon Adria and president of Deloitte Serbia. He was the chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Dedinje Institute for Cardiovascular Disorders. Today he is a member of corporate management bodies in the following companies: Metalac, Messer Tehnogas and Komercijalna Banka – NLB Group.

Mr. Djuricin is a founder of the Kopaonik Business Forum, and he was a program director of this event for many years. He was the president of the Association of Serbian Economists for fifteen years and a member of the Economic Council of the Government of the Republic of Serbia. During this period, he was engaged in the process of preparation of several transitional laws, including the Law on Privatization, as well as the program of fiscal consolidation, known as the Avramovic Program.

Economics of transition is his permanent preoccupation. At the moment, at the very focus of his interest is the paradigm shift in the economy and the influence of Industry 4.0 on the financing of the green transition and the circular and regenerative economy.
