On Monday, February 6, 2023, the ceremony for PC Press Top50 awards was held at the National Museum in Belgrade. “Konstrakta Metalac”, as one of the chapters in this year’s PC Press is titled, won the award in the Twitter category, for the entire campaign Metalac & Konstrakta which began, if you remember, with a single tweet but ended with 2,500,000 dinars for NURDOR. The award was received by Jelena Mijatovic, the director of Metalac Digital. At the same time, it should be noted that the winners of these awards were the most influential participants of social networks in Serbia, including both corporate and influencer types.
One of the most beautiful stories in the recent history of Metalac began in March of the last year. Konstrakta and Metalac joined their forces to collect 2,500,000 dinars for the National Association of Parents of Children with Cancer (NURDOR). The basin and the jug were a complete success. The whole story certainly did attract the attention of almost all the media outlets, both inside the country and in the region. The latest award for Metalac and Pioniri was the PC Press Top50 award.
We should note that this is not the first time that Metalac appeared on the Top50 list. In 2021, Metalac won the award for the best online store in 2020.
One of the best examples of a successful corporate Twitter presence is Metalac AD from Gornji Milanovac. Their Twitter account is a combination of provocative, direct, open and witty communication, and it also involves responding to some of the sometimes difficult questions and comments posted by followers, characterized by acceptance of both positive and negative comments. – PC Press said, adding that Twitter is not the only tool in this brand’s toolbox. Metalac has an online presence in five different markets and four social networks; it also owns three web shops. In addition, it has almost half a million followers in social networks, which is an extraordinary result for a domestic brand.
