METALAC FUND has been established for humanitarian and other social purposes, for promoting and supporting science, culture, arts and sports, as well as all other fields of strategic, progressive and social interest.
Also this time the Company Metalac is one step ahead many others.
Establishing Metalac Fund came as a result of a study - the Company decided to make an example: first money went for the campaign and mission: METALAC CHILDREN - VIEW INTO THE FUTURE.

Beginning 2006 statistics showed that even 72% of metalac employees under the age of 35 did not make families. During last years in the company of 1250 people the birthrate did not exceed twenty babies per year.
Always willing to act and always looking into future, the Company Metalac wanted to fight with the problem. The Board decided to establish the METALAC FUND. First money was meant to stimulate young employees to start families.

By end 2006 Metalac could be proud with 38 babies which was 10 percent from the total birthrate in Gornji Milanovac that year. Among them were one triplets, four twins, five times third child and once fourth child. The happy parents of each of those babies were presented with a cheque personally by the managing director of the Company Metalac, Mr. Petrasin jakovljevic, acting also as president of the Fund. The "greeting cards" were of 500 Euro for first child, 1000 Euros for second, 2000 for third, and for fourth and each next 4000 Euro.In this way the total of 38.000 Euro was invested into future and dedication of the employees.

"Maybe the State is not worried enough, maybe lacks power to fight with such serious problem, but a leader like Metalac should not leave it without response. Why doing all this if there is not for whom. We expect others to follow our example." - was the only comment of the president of the Fund, Mr. Petrasin Jakovljevic.

GREAT EXAMPLE
... We are positive that Metalac is the unique example of privatizatiion in the territory of Gornji Milanovac. In this company, beside decent salaries and new positions, workers are stimulated to inrcrease their families... However, workers are the owners too in this company, workers who have been building the factory for them and their children.

MEDAL FROM "BEBAC" ORGANIZATION
For the presentation of the first web portal dedicated to pregnant women, young parents and couples planning families ... www.bebac.com , recognitions and special medal for promotion and support of expectant mothers, presented to all companies, institutions and individuals that helped this campaign.
End May in the Ceremonilal Hall of the Belgrade Fair the NGO "Bebac" gave recognitions to friends and partners which supported the campaing "Expectant mothers first". The Medal was handed to the Managing Director of Metalac a.d., Mr Petrasin Jakovljevic, to Mr. Bojan Pajtic, President of the Ececutive Council of Vojvodina, to the City Institute for Public Health, to the City Public Transportation Company "Beograd", B92, Post Offices....
