METALAC AD

Metalac a.d. is a share company organized as a holding with 13 subsidiaries. Four of them are productive, five trading companies in the local market and four companies abroad.. Metalac has been active for 50  years.. The Company headquarters is in Gornji Milanovac where are the factories Metalac Cookware doo for production of cookware, Metalac  Inko doo for production of kitchen sinks and granmatrix composite plates, Metalac Bojler doo for production of water heaters and Metalac Print doo for production of carton packing material and transfers for cookware decoration.

The trading companies within the holding give shape to one of the strongest trading chains in Serbia for sale of cookware and compatible items: Metalac Market doo  as a retailer manages 55 specialized shops throughout Serbia. Metalac Trade doo is a major wholesale of imported household items,  and Metalac Metalurgija a.d. Novi Sad which places products of Metalac and widest range of household items on the market of  Vojvodina. Metalac Proleter a.d. is major supplier of citizens in the province of Gornji Milanovac through 50 points of sale Company Metpor, Belgrade acts as agent of different foreign companies and trades with home textile products.

All four companies abroad deal with various ranges of Metalac products.The biggest share is from Metrot doo Moscow which operates in Russia for ten years. Promo-Metal Zagreb covers the market in Croatia, while in Montenegro products are sold through Metalac Market Podgorica. The market of the USA is supplied by Metalac Group USA located in Milwaukee.

The property structure of METALAC AD shows 60 % held by natural persons and 40% share of legal persons and custody accounts. The share of foreign entities and investment funds in the total capital is 45%. Trade of Metalac a.d. shares is continuous by the Belgrade Exchange. Exchange analysts say that Metalac is one of the "healthiest" Serbian companies.

In 2009 Metalac made Euro 74 million turnover and net profit of Euro 3,5 million . Cookware production is core-business and  Metalac Cookware is one of major cookware producers in Europe. Metalac exports its products, mostly cookware, to 25 countries, mostly EU countries and Russia, then USA, Australia, and of course to Serbian immediate neighbours...

Metalac strategy is constant development as proved with investments as high as 40 million Euros in last 15 years. Today we are unique company that under one roof produces enamel, non-stick and stainless steel cookware, stainless steel sinks, various types of water heaters,  carton packing material and granmatrix composite plates.

Metalac Holding employs about 1550 people, half of them working in Metalac Cookware, every tenth with university degree. There is a trend of continuous education to improve and update knowledge in all fields.

Metalac a.d. has integrated Quality Management System ISO 9001 and Environemental Protection Management System ISO 14001 certified by TÜV. The subsidiaries Metalac Cookware, Metalac Inko, Metalac Print and Metalac Bojler also obtained QMS/EMS certificates  The company is dedicated to all aspects of sustainable development.
